And truthfully, still processing it. 😆

Ever the reflective person that I am, i may need a few more days to make sense of it and embrace it. 😂 But I’m grateful for what I have, and more so, for what I don’t because it grounds me and softens my heart and creates a gentle spirit within me.

A very dear friend from miles away stood in front of a church with the huge “We can’t, God can” banner to record a video greeting for me. I think that pretty much sums up my life thus far—-full of “God can, I can’t” moments. ☺️

Sharing some lessons I’ve learned building my “basics” for my minimalist wardrobe these past few years:

* quality over quantity
* opt for timeless pieces in color, shape and form that you can mix and match
* no, it doesn’t have to be just black and white or neutral
* you can throw in some pinks or any color that can blend well with your other basics
* you define your own “basics” depending on your lifestyle and current season in life. For me, that is largely a pair of jeans or good leggings (let’s be honest! 😆) + button down shirts or cardigans.

Here’s to wishing you a more “put together” look and less decision fatigue with what you wear this 2022. ✨

So many things to be grateful for this year even if we are still in pandemic. I am most grateful for the life of R and for his 40th year, the reason we took a risk and traveled to celebrate and mark this milestone.

I thank God for you R—-my better half, the one who models love and grace and forgiveness to me and Z on a daily, and one who takes up his space quietly, humbly and ever-so kindly in this world. 😘

Santorini in November 💙🇬🇷

There are many villages in Santorini but I would agree with those who have gone ahead of us that Oia is indeed the most charming and picturesque. If you saw a photo of Santorini, it’s most likely taken in Oia.

One can’t help but smile at the first sight of it, followed by an exclamation of appreciation and admiration. ☺️

Is Santorini worth visiting during off-season? Absolutely! Sharing these insights to you and hope it’s helpful if you’re considering traveling to Santorini in November, an off-season:

Upside:
+ Very few tourists (you can take your time in all the photo spots without a long queue!)
+ Accommodation rates can be lower than summer rates)
+ Mild weather (between 14 to 18 deg)

Downside:
+ Chances of cloudy days and rain (haven’t rained yet for us)
+ Most restaurants are closed
+ Sunsets may not be as fiery and vibrant at summertime, (didn’t show up for us yesterday)
